Sam Grant is an expert furnace technician, who arrived with the required part in his jacket pocket (based on the symptoms described to him by telephone). He arrived on time and completed repairs on two Westinghouse furnaces within an hour. He also provided advice regarding future maintenance of the furnaces.

We recently had A/C installed by Grant Mechanical and are very pleased with the whole process. Sam (the owner) initially came out and went over all of the options. He said we can use our existing furnace because it had at least 5 years of life left while other contractors said we needed to replace our furnace. This saved us a good amount of money. Sam also provided the option for a slimmer A/C unit that would fit in a better area. The other contractors said we could not fit an A/C compressor in that location and instead proposed a unit with a larger footprint where we would have had to move one of our fruit trees in the backyard. Also, Sam said we could continue to use our existing thermostat while other contractors said we would need to replace it with a new one. Sam turned around the bid quickly as he promised. The other contractors took at least a week and came in at a much higher cost for just the A/C compressor and installation (ignoring the furnace replacement they said we needed). Sam was flexible and worked within our schedule. His crew was very friendly and completed the bulk of the install the first day. The second day was simply to do the wiring to the thermostat (delayed to 2nd day so they could be in the attic in the morning when it wasn't hot). Overall, very pleased with Grant Mechanical and would highly recommend!

Had a problem with the heater during a cold spell. Sam made time in his schedule to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
