My wife and I met Abraham Lerma over several days on our morning walk not far from our house. He was renovating an old rental that had been occupied by the same elderly person for years. We were amazed at the extent of the changes we saw at each of our daily passes. This contractor was occasionally outside and we exchanged greetings and gave compliments about the work he was completing. We have been talking about painting our home for a few years and were impressed with his work in progress. We got his QR Code (business card). Abraham provided us with a very reasonable estimate for painting the exterior of our house. We hired Abraham. During this period we were inundated by cold strong wind and plenty of rain. On the first day Abraham was on the job with a high pressure washer to remove dirt and loose paint on all exterior surfaces. This included windows and spider webs in corners and crevices. The gutters above the back porch were filled with leaves. These were swepted clean. The painter was obviously soaked through all his clothing and very chilled. He worked along until it became too dark to see well. Later, a young assistant helped scrape peeling old paint from our wooden garage door and the front porch. They used all sorts of tools to scrape, grind, and sand then coated the treated area with a white primer paint. Wasn't a bad looking job even before the final paint was applied. Rotten boards at the base of the back porch and on the roof line were replaced as were several broken stucco patches. Cracks in the stucco vanished as they were sealed. Included with the house painting was refinishing of the flagstone (cleaning and crack filling) in the front yard. That required working on the knees for several hours. The resultant product made the walkway superior looking than any time in the past. Since then we hired Abraham Lerma to completely rebuild our backyard wood deck. In summary, We were more than pleased that Abraham did such a quality job for both exterior painting and rebuilding our redwood deck. He was always prompt, efficient, responsive, detail orientated, and multi-skilled with a friendly smile. We also appreciated his kind and gracious wife's help in communicating with him. We highly recommend Lerms5Aconstruction for any house project.
