The PTs I have had at Kaiser over the years have varied considerably in quality. Someone told me early on in my membership that you need to find the people who can help you, and then try to leverage those individuals as much as possible. Move on quickly from the ones who aren't helpful. The most helpful therapist I had let me bring in my bicycle, and filmed me riding on a stationary set of rollers in his examination room. He made suggestions for changing my position. My most recent therapist worked on my neck pain, which I think is senior-onset arthritis that runs in my family. She seemed interested in moving me through the system quickly, and provided me with a stock set of exercises that mostly made the neck pain worse.
