This is a place where you can get a same-day appointment if something goes wrong, like a plastic dome that lodges in your ear. They also have the right equipment to re-program the aids as your hearing changes, and easily fix problems like broken wires/speakers. All without individual charges for visits. Once I had a plastic dome from another product (an in-ear headphone) get stuck up against my eardrum. I could just drop by during business hours -- without an appointment -- and get someone to take it out. Years earlier, in the bad-old days before I had Kaiser and before the ACA, I had to go to an emergency room, where the hospital charged me $400 for a similar issue.

Its sad to say but Kaiser Hearing has a lot to be desired. Total lacking in customer service skills and pricing is not at all competitive. Kaiser needs to get more customer focused or you can get better pricing and service elsewhere
