I recommend trying every hairdresser to settle on your preferred one. I have. They have a book of hair styles so you can select your look. Always a bright spot.

Depending on your styling expectations or needs, the Fillmore St. salon is exceptionally uneven in the quality of its styling staff. Some have been at this location for 20 years or more; others come and go, who - esp. in my experience - performed with more skill and style. For those who need a haircut with some frequency, the one advantage was that it was cheap and cutting errors were quickly grown out! Now, prices have almost doubled since Covid arrived, the 'attitude' remains uninviting for the most part, and the uneven quality of staff seems more pronounced - or should I mention the uneven quality of an individual stylist on the same head of hair with the same stylistic expectation! Although my summary recommendation is positive in this review, be warned: you are likely to be disappointed more often than not. However, it still won't cost you north of $125 and it will 'grow out'!

Although a long-time client of this Supercuts location, the service and interpersonal skills of the staff have declined recently even further from a rather low standard. Your experience is likely to vary widely - both re: the skills of the 'barbers' and the customer-facing interchanges of booking, cashier experience, and general customer interface. Generally a less than pleasant personal experience, esp. if in the end, a basic 'bob' haircut is botched! As a result, I return only occasionally and in desperation and limit the haircutter's impact by requesting a 'trim' rather than a full-on 'haircut'!
