We have been using Familiar Surroundings to provide my mom with a caregiver on a part-time basis with a split shift. They were the only agency we contacted of 3 that was able to assure us we could have a split shift. This is a money-saving strategy for our family and I only have favorable things to say about Familiar Surroundings. Good communication - mostly the same staff weekly is assigned. I like that we do not need to worry about employing someone with payroll, payroll taxes, workers comp insurance, etc. My mother has liked all her caregivers.
