I hired Handyman Connection to install new bathroom sink faucets. The installation part itself was fine. But, the installer did something I did not ask him to do — he put a white silicone sealant all around the base of the faucets and the sink grout without telling me. I found out what he did when I happened to walk into the bathroom to check his job progress. It was not necessary to seal the sink grout and the faucets. The sink grout was in a perfect shape in the color we choose to match the wallpaper years ago. Not only that this unwanted sealant color was wrong (he used white on top of the beige grout), the job was done very poorly. He did not wipe the excess sealant carefully and left streaks and blobs all around. I regret I used this company for the job. I told the installer later about this. But, he never replied. I ended up having to hire a grout specialist to restore the affected area which costed me $200. Very unpleasant experience.
