A family member went to the LabCorp in Oak Park for a CA 125 blood test the past week. The staff said that the patient would have to pay using cash/credit card in the amount of $150.00. Back in March, the patient went to another lab in the area and Medicare paid the total approved amount of $20.81 with the same Medicare insurance. LabCorp is trying to rip off the patient by demanding payment of over seven times the approved Medicare amount.

This place caused me some anxiety and the staff had a little bit of sass but everything was resolved and it all worked out.
