American Remodeling Construction specializes in hail damage to siding and roofs. Their salespeople aggressively solicit all the neighbors when they do a job in your area. I repeatedly had to show them the "Solicitors not invited sign" in my door. They did not have a permit from the village to go door to door. They use high pressure sales tactics, such as showing up an hour earlier than agreed to go over the contract, even tho you told them you were in the middle of dinner. The contract says the homeowner has 3 days to cancel, but no cancellation form was provided. I obtained one from the IL Attorney General's office, faxed it to ARC, and left a message to reinforce the fact that I was cancelling. The salesperson still called to schedule the inspection! And even after I pointed out that I had cancelled the contract, he tried to "close" on me at least 2 more times to do the inspection. VERY high pressure.
