This year we did a home energy audit and were shocked by the investments recommended and by the technical complexity of securing the PEPCO refunds linked to those investments. A request for additional help with this from PEPCO's energy advisory services came months after my inquiry. We moved this project to Rich at Home Energy HERO, and he walked us through every step and secured a larger rebate than our original certified contractor. This week we received the full rebate, which covered a significant amount of the improvements (which also included new windows and doors secured separately). Whether the investments help with a warmer home this winter and with our utilities are still to be determined, but we are optimistic given the post-investment energy efficiency test. Thank you for everything, Rich. I highly recommend your services.

Rich was very responsive and got in touch with me immediately. Quickly scheduled an audit and was outstanding at diagnosing problem areas and solution options. Quickly estimated cost of work, took plenty of time to discuss recommendations and options, then quickly scheduled work with an oustanding team. Rich Dexter performed a full energy audit and then explained the work I needed to save money on my heat and A/C bills. His crew came as agreed and they added insulation to my attic and basement. They finished the work in four hours. I also received my rebate check in a timely manner.
