I have been a physician for over 30 years. I have never met a podiatrist with whom I am so impressed. Benjamin Elgamil is beyond amazing. He took one look at the results of another podiatrist who treated me 2 months ago for an ingrown toenail, badly infected toe, and immediately, in a very conservative way, showed me the damage done to my toe by the other doctor. He recommended a conservative procedure, numbed the toe without any pain ( the other doctor used no anesthetic), and began to remove tons of debris, all sorts of garbage that had made my foot very painful. He not only answered many other questions ( pain in the other foot - wear a Strassburg sock and it will disappear - no one has been able to help with this problem for years), dealing with swelling and many other things. This doctor has some of the best bedside manner ever seen, is brilliant, not eager to do surgery, told me that I don't need a follow up visit unless there are problems, and made me feel like I now know who I will turn to for any foot/ankle problems and who I will refer patients to. I was seen exactly on time. His office staff is incredible. The office is ultra-modern, clean, tons of free parking. I cannot say enough good about Benjamin Elgamil if you need foot and ankle help.
