Andy is an absolutely honest person, and the owner of the company. He also gave the lowest estimate by far and completed the work to the highest standards. One of the parts to the heat pump was damaged; he brought this to my attention and also kept after the heat pump company to replace this part. We saved 2500 on his estimate over the other highly rated companies.

This is the first time I have ever done a Checkbook review other than responding to the once a year mailing I get from Checkbook. I needed someone to remove my old heating and air conditioning system once the system finally gave out. I contacted five companies. Four of the five companies were competitively priced. I hired one of those four, Air Quality Heating and Air Conditioning. My experience with that company was fantastic. I dealt with the owners, Andy and Sandra and quickly saw they were really competent and honest. Initially, Andy came to my house, and within a day or two gave us an estimate. I hired them based on their wonderful reviews in Checkbook and the comfortable and warm feeling I had about my interactions with Andy and Sandra. Within days Andy and his crew successfully removed our old equipment and installed the new equipment. Everything went smoothly. There was one minor issue with the new thermostat. Andy profusely apologized for the minor glitch and quickly remedied the problem. He was incredibly responsive and pleasant. I was also impressed that the contract they gave me was short and reasonable, a clear contrast to the contracts I was “forced” to sign with businesses who were hired when my daughter got married. Although some of the other companies I spoke with regarding our heating and air conditioning system might well have satisfactorily performed, I give Air Quality my highest recommendation. In fact, I told Andy that he could give my name to any prospective customer as a reference, an offer I have never made to any other contractor.
