I am changing my review of this company from excellent to awful. They installed two many splits in our attic a few years ago. Although they units continued to heat, they stopped cooling two years ago. Uneeda kept saying another part was coming and they would fix it. Over and over. We had a temporary air conditioner for almost 2 years. We finally found a contractor who knew what he was doing. He fixed the problem in about an hour, and it has worked fine ever since. Uneeda just did not know what they were doing. We lost money through higher AC bills and the final repair job.

Our furnace is about 2 years old and under warrantee. A pressure switch was failing. Uneeda diagnosed the problem quickly, but there was a delay in receiving the parts. Once the parts arrived, Uneeda did the repair under warrantee.

I bought a new heat pump / AC system from Uneeda. - I wanted one that was high efficiency and could get the then-available Federal tax credits, but they sold me one that was so-so efficiency, telling me more efficient ones weren't available, which I think is not true. I know I should have shopped more, but I was busy, had dealt with some REALLY BAD HVAC people, had gone two summers without AC and they were pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. - They couldn't find the serial number on the furnace, despite numerous calls from me, telling me that it was a problem with Goodman's online registration system and that I had 90 days to register it. Actually, it was 60 and by the time I finally got them to come out again and get the correct number, I got a 5-year warranty instead of the 12 years I was promised. Daiken/Goodman refused to fix this. - They set the cutover point from gas to electric wrong on the heat pump (> 50 F), couldn't figure out how to fix it, telling me it was probably set at ~35 F. I finally used Google Gemini to figure out how to get past the dealer password and set it correctly myself. Lots of gas used for nearly a year when it should have been less-polluting electric -- the point of getting a heat pump in the first place.
