We recently hired DeckMaster to (1) demolish and dispose of a very large wooden backyard deck (2-tier) and (2) build a large upstairs deck out of “Trex” along with new stairs to a patio made of pavers, in its place. We also asked them to rebuild an enlarged front path to our porch taking into consideration accessibility issues. I interviewed three companies and was most impressed by DeckMaster. The price was very competitive. I met with “Franco” at our house who introduced me to services and products provided by the company. He is a very personable young guy who is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and all that DeckMaster has to offer. After answering questions, suggesting possible approaches, and going back and forth over the next few days, he provided a draft contract that accurately represented our understanding of what they would provide. All workers showed up on time every day. Generally they arrived by 8:00 and stayed until 5:00 or 6:00. No short days for this crew! They were always very courteous and willing to do whatever was necessary to please us. My neighbors were impressed that the men cleaned up the yard so throughly before leaving the premises. There were a number of workers who specialized in building the deck and then a separate crew to build the backyard patio and frontyard path. The entire project was completed in 7 consecutive days! They knew we had plans to go out of town 8 days after they started and were able to finish it on time (with cooperating weather)! The work was completed 2 months after we signed the contract and they gave us notice before work was due to begin. The end result exceeded our expectations in every way. There was one minor glitch that arose at the end of the project. I was disappointed that one of the supervisors did not follow through on something he agreed to do. I reminded him twice. I then called the owner of the company who was extremely apologetic and then made things right. The supervisor also called me to apologize. I did not let this disappointment affect my rating of this company because the work was superior in every way with the exception of this minor disappointment. I believe that none of us are perfect and are entitled to another chance. All aspects of this project from start to finish exceeded our expectations. Therefore, I provide this unequivocal recommendation of DeckMaster for your outdoor project. Since the completion of this project we have received many compliments.

We were pleased with Deckmaster. We were impressed with the detailed proposal beforehand about the work they were going to perform, They did a great job communicating throughout the whole process. It's difficult to predict thunderstorms in the summer and 5 hours after staining it unexpectedly rained. They were kind enough to come out out again to restain.
