Montgomery Decks replaced our deck and renovated our screened porch. Both are nearly maintenance-free now. We were very pleased with the design and specification process. Constantine was very thorough. The build crew was highly skilled, quick-paced, and dedicated under Joel's direction. The only area of improvement I see is better communication among the designer and build crew to include the customer. Before the build phase actually starts, all three parties should review the plan and selections. We had two instances when work had to be stopped and corrected -- once for the deck railing and once for trim work on the porch. To Montgomery Decks' credit, they promptly corrected the errors upon referring to the contract. We are very pleased with our upgraded outdoor space and Montgomery Decks' work.

Excellent job at a great price! We highly recommend them. After getting ridiculous prices and schedules from several deck builders that also ranked high on Consumer Checkbook, we contacted Montgomery Decks. What a difference. I sent them a sketch of our requirements and they responded promptly with a "best guess" estimate and start date, subject to a site visit. We approved and one of the owners came out within a few days and confirmed everything, including a firm date to start the work. They showed up on time with a great crew that worked diligently and without interruption to complete the new cedar deck. Their guys are very skilled and care about doing the right job the first time. When the deck was complete, one of the owners made an appointment to come out, inspect the work with us and confirm we were happy. From start to finish, we had an uncommonly good experience with Montgomery Decks.
