Major reconstruction project: remove 8 foot section of front sidewalk that had been undermined by water leak, replace with new concrete base and restore the top surface (brick border surrounding large flat gray stones). They were able to save most of the flat stones; original bricks had to be replaced (bricks softer than the mortar and could not be cut out). New bricks are close to the color of the old bricks-Roberto hand-selected them from a full pallet. Sidewalk looks as good as new--the replaced section looks just like the sections on either side that did not have to be replaced. Excellent craftsmanship, work above and beyond what I hoped for.

I highly recommend Rocha Construction. They are honest, hard working, and skilled. I brought them in after another contractor with ethical issues built some driveway retaining walls for which he did not get a permit, and which could not be brought up to code. Roberto quoted a fair price to remove those walls and build new ones, and came in on budget. The walls his crew built are solid, attractive, properly drained, and use geo-grid to stabilize them. Roberto went to great lengths to find high-quality materials that would match those used in other hardscaping in our yard. He handled all the county inspections. Roberto listened to my concerns, and clearly explained what his crew were doing and why. He brought in a subcontractor to re-cover our driveway, and that work was also excellent. It was a pleasure working with them, and we are very happy with the results.
