I hired Paul Davis for mold remediation in my 75-year-old basement, partly because I knew my insurance company (which wasn't paying) uses them. I repeatedly underlined that the work was being done for health reasons, which require meeting a rigorous standard of cleanliness. Especially important I told them were the wooden underflooring of the 1st story and the floor joists. Paul Davis failed to meet the standard required, leaving medium-high concentrations of mold on the wooden surfaces. They took my complaints as a commercial opportunity and offered to re-do their work, at a high price. I had it done by others. Paul Davis people are pleasant and apparently sincere, but ineffectual. I paid an inflated price for inadequate work.
