My adult son, who is intellectually disabled, visited the facility with a finger laceration. His younger sister accompanied him for comfort and to assist with communications. I was on my way home from work and met them there. My son was already in the treatment room, which was great. The doctor didn't have the warmest demeanor, but he did a great job. The paperwork was a nightmare. My daughter had brought and presented my son's two insurance cards (my son is covered by Medicaid as well as my company plan) and yet all of the paperwork had someone else's name on it! It took more time to straighten this out than it did to treat his injury.
