This company was obviously going through some kind of transition over the past year in terms of staffing and overall organization, so that contact was erratic and confusing, as was the guidance provided. Unfortunate but wouldn't feel comfortable using again.

I wish I had contacted Victorian Chimney first. We ended up paying $150 to get an "inspection" of our Chimney done by Bethesda Chimney in the winter, when we first moved into our house. It took Bethesda Chimney a whole 5 minutes to tell us it needed to be relined. Their quote was $5,500. We then called 2 other companies to look for estimates, with Victorian Chimney being one of them. Victorian Chimney was the ONLY company that followed up with me after providing a totally free inspection and quote. We held off on getting the work done until Summer, but Joe, the owner, honored the same quote he game me in the winter, which was over 30% less than all other quotes. He provided me proof of insurance and also MD License. He had a crew of 4 people come out 2 days after we agreed on the work. They were extremely clean and professional. They had all of the work done in 3 days. This included relining, mason work, and waterproofing. The work also came with a warranty, the same as the more expensive companies. The owner Joe followed up with me each day to ensure I was satisfied. I asked to have some additional mason work done on the chimney, where it appeared to be less, and he did it at no charge, no questions asked. I would highly recommend using them.
