Lauren has been taking care of my dog for the last 3 years and in that time she has boarded my dog 7 or 8 times for 1 - 3 weeks at a time. My dog has kennel anxiety and is miserable in a crate or boarding in a traditional kennel, and so we prefer to leave him in a home situation instead which is hard to find. Lauren provides a great option for us -- her house has a large fenced yard and there is usually a small group of other dogs to play with who are size and temperament appropriate. He gets to sleep in his own bed and Lauren even texts us photos and updates while we are away. We have also had her come to walk my dog midday when we have not been able to be home to walk him. Additionally, two or three times, we had a sitter from Licks and Leashes stay at our house to care for our dog while we were away. I would highly recommend Licks and Leashes to anyone looking for a walker or in house dog boarding or dog sitting. My dog was well taken care of, in the company of other happy pups and happily asleep on someone's lap in the evening - just like home!
