Our oak floors had the same finish as when they were installed in 1973, which means there were lots of places with the finish totally worn off and the bare wood exposed. We received three estimates for refinishing the floors including from one of the highest rated companies on Checkbook. Ayoub's was the best price and we heard a good recommendation from a neighbor so we went with them. The work included finishing 4 bedrooms, a hallway, a living room, a dining room, and a staircase including the handrailing. The staff was fantastic, from the no-pressure estimate to the office staff, to the people who performed the work. The final product far exceeded our expectations. I thought the staircase and closets would be very hard for them, but they look as fantastic as the other areas of the house. We've had a lot of foot traffic in our house since then and the floors still look like they did on the day the Ayoub crew finished. We get a surprising number of compliments from visitors. Between the price and quality, I give Ayoub my highest recommendations.
