He claimed there was mold where other mold inspectors who have come in afterwards did not find any. For example, he said there was mold in the HVAC system. I asked "well anyone like a HVAC contractor can take care of this, correct?" He responded to the extent "no only someone like me can take care of this". His calculations of water damages drywall was off. He wanted to charge me $2,000 to fix it. I got someone to fix it for $400. He attempts to install fear in people stating comments to the extent "Its raining now all the mold spores are spreading out." A well respected home inspector told me after he asked who was my mold inspector that I used this service responded to the extent: "Oh I was concerned you used this guy. He has a history of trying to scare people."

Having flooded my basement apartment, I was leery of being sold snake oil by way of help. I found ETS here on CC, however,and I could not be more pleased. Paul showed up, tested the air, tested and marked the areas of wallboard that would need to be replaced, and wrote out a set of instructions that could be implemented by my contractor and me to restore the apartment for safe occupancy by my tenants. When I had a question, it was answered promptly and thoroughly. What might have been a nightmare turned out great.
