Brookdale Olney must be the bastard child of the Brookdale Assisted living system. Everyone who works there that is any good leaves to go to another location. It is $24,000 a year cheaper and he has a full bath with a shower in his room. The facility is well maintained on the outside. The staff that takes care of the inside is not so great. The staff overturn is tremendous. We have lost clothes, blankets, towels, I'm not sure the staff didn't take some of the blankets and towels for themselves My dad is locked on the third floors, which makes it difficult to get the elevator or get down when done. Gia the 3rd floor manager is excellent with the patients on her floor, always planning events for them and reaching out to families. Her support staff is an issue. Carmen the main cook is amazing at everything she makes. From Corndogs to thanksgiving dinner.
