Barry and Steve at Lighthouse gave us very useful customized advice on a full range of topics as we approached retirement. However, they increasingly used a very unpleasant hard sell for their investment services, which must be their real money-maker. We want to do our own investing and would have liked to have continued with a regular "check-up," but, contrary to the language in our initial agreement, they weren't interested in this without also being able to do our investing for us. This really soured us on them and we wouldn't work with them again. Their services are apparently a come-on to hook clients on the more lucrative investing service.
