Had them come out to evaluate our chimney. After 15 minutes they said the refractory masonry needed to be replaced and since the firebox manuf no longer makes it, they'd have to replace our entire chimney system for $12K. Of course their are replacement refractory masonry made for this exact situation but they said it couldn't be used. Did not clean up their mess when inspecting the chimney. Dust and other combustion products everywhere. Never used a vacuum.
