I wanted two 12 x 9 matted and signed landscape photographs framed in nickel frames and I had a 28x24 inch color drawing that I wanted matted that I planned to insert in a metal frame I already owed. Ben literally took seconds to select a color for the mat that enhanced the drawing perfectly. (I was thinking white would have been the mat of choice, but that would have been so wrong.) He also recommended warm nickel instead of bright nickel and that was also perfect for the matted photographs. So don’t go in with any preconceived ideas. Let Ben do what he excels at and he can tell you what will enhance your art. The metal frames are high quality, made in USA frames and included the attached picture wire and the appropriate sized nail/hook for hanging without an additional charge. He even put on protective pads on the bottom corners of the frames so the frames won’t scratch the walls-really thoughtful! If you are using a frame you already have bring it in with you so he can ensure that the matted work properly fits. I brought in the backing for my large drawing, but I should also have brought in the frame. (The mat does fit my frame perfectly.) Highly recommended.
