My mother was in the hospital for two weeks recovering from infection after five surgeries, when the hospital informed us that we needed to move her to a nursing home or a rehab facility. A family friend recommended Adventist Healthcare Rehab in Gaithersburg. We could not have been more pleased with our mom's care. The facility worked with the hospital to get her admitted. The transport from the hospital was difficult leaving me stressed and worried as I followed the private ambulance. Upon arriving, I has anxious and tired. One of the attendants asked about water and I said yes, please my mom is really thirsty. She came back with two. One for me and one for her. I sat down and cried. That was the type of attention we got there. The facility was clean, everyone was helpful, and the doctors were attentive. I hope to never need another rehab facility again, but if I do, I know which one I'm going to.
