After 14 days at Collingswood, my parent had 2 bedsores - this is considered a severe wound. Bedsores are rated in Stages 1-4. When someone has an unstageable bedsore it means that the dead tissue is so severe the doctor cannot evaluate the sore due to dead spongy tissue. Usually the person is at Stage 3 or 4 which means the sore has reached muscles, tendons, and bone. My parent's stay at Collingswood was a horror story.

Poor communication on condition and discharge timing. Ignored repeated phone calls. Staff ignores call buttons. Hours of delay addressing simple requests. Food very poor. Only exceptions were unit managers who were (or tried to be) helpful.
