We had a sizeable collection of old docs to be shredded and chose Patriot Shredding to shred them at our DC home for us. What an excellent experience in all respects! Heather provided A+ service in setting up our appointment, and her emails kept us well informed re the status of our appointment. And the team in the truck couldn’t have been better -- Christian & Patrick were wonderfully efficient, careful and pleasant. The Patriot truck itself was amazing -- had a window through which you could watch your items being shredded if you were so inclined. The pricing was very reasonable. In sum, Patriot Shredding's first rate office staff and first rate on-site team provided first rate service at a surprisingly modest cost. We plan to use this company again to dispose safely of some papers currently in storage and for its specialized service addressing digital items. We highly recommend this excellent company without reservation.

We were extremely pleased by Patriot Shredding’s service. Greg Wilson was very helpful over the phone in setting up the visit to our house. They came two days after we called and alerted us 10-15 minutes before they arrived. We appreciated being able to see all of our documents being loaded into their supercan and dumped into the truck for shredding. They also recycle electronics so we will be calling them again for sure.

On-site residential shredding services are hard to find. I called lots before finding Patriot. Patriot came the very next day with their shredding truck, on time and efficient. There is a minimum charge,which I was happy to pay. It was worth it. Note that UPS and other places such as Staples require the customer to bring the documents to their store and REQUIRE YOU TO FEED A FEW DOCUMENTS AT A TIME THROUGH A SMALL SLIT in the bin, which they frequently do not tell you before you arrive. For this they charge $1 per pound. Drop off at Patriot costs 40 cents per pound, and no feeding through slits.
