Jon at Diamond Garage Doors answered the phone immediately at first time call. I called Diamond due to their high rating in Consumers' Checkbook! Our pre-2002 steel garage door stopped opening and I called the next day. Jon talked us through several possible situations and none of them worked. We're reasonably capable homeowners. So he sent a tech to our home the next day. The tech arrived promptly and diagnosed our problem right away. We had a pre-2010 Chamberlain 3/4HP motor and it was toast. The tech showed us everything he had to do and we told him to "make it so". He did - installed a new rail, belt, motor, sensors, and controls. He showed us everything he did and everything we needed to do to control the (same old) door. He did not try to sell us a door - said our door was old & heavy yet still good. We are happy with the experience. Only "meh" is that everything is "smart" and supposedly smarter if we download the app. Old phones - not downloading the app for now. Jon said to call when we update our phone and he'll walk us through it. Be prepared to either pay via PayPal or write a check, though (we still do cash and checks so okay by us). Ending with a 5star satisfaction!

Repair was good/adequate. John and tech were friendly and professional. Fee was most expensive of all my estimates. But, they were the first available, came out within one day, came within time range given, and did the job in 30 minutes.
