This is basically a family-run operation, and it's a low-key, honest, on-time, work-really-hard and get-it-done-for-a-fair-price contractor. Ken gave no-bull answers to my questions about furnace technology and performance, as well as installing a great high-efficiency furnace and making it work together with a central cooling unit installed a few years prior by another contractor. Jill was flexible in helping us re-schedule the installation when the date I'd originally asked for became problematic; she also handled the contracting matters. (As a former lawyer, I think they could benefit from a more formal set of terms and conditions, but they did negotiate fairly on a draft set I provided--probably I'm being excessively legalistic there, as I have the clear impression they stand well behind their installations in general.) Ken is also a very humble fellow; he even asked if I wanted their business sticker on the furnace. You bet--we'll be repeat customers on any needed servicing!

They were working within the constraints of my home warranty.
