Not Recommended
The therapist didn't listen to my needs and the fact that I needed to get back to 100% asap. I was told that I should save money and not come in after the initial appointment for 4 weeks, that I should just do at home therapy. When I came back the therapist panicked about something I said about how my therapy was going and sent me to my primary care physician immediately, who found absolutely nothing wrong but referred me to have a test done that wasn't necessary. I missed a full day of work and drove over 100 miles trying to get this done so that I could go back to therapy. But in the end, I decided to skip PT all together and do exercises, stretching and massage on my own. It took me 3 months to recover. I feel that if the therapist had listened to me and cared about a successful outcome "asap" as I told them I needed, then I would have been going to therapy at least 2-3 times a week and been recovered in a month or so. I wasn't worried about the copay or money, but the therapist was. I should have walked away after the first visit and found someone else who was willing to work with me on a regular basis to heal.
