I had this group come and service my furnace. The owner came, and that went fine, so I asked him for an estimate on a humidifier. They were the lowest bid so I hired them. The technician who installed the humidifier showed me how to turn off two buttons for the summer and then he left. A couple hours later, I noticed that the furnace was running nonstop and the house was getting quite hot. I texted the owner in a panic and he told me how to turn off the furnace. He said he was busy but would come over the next day to fix it; he didn’t. Nor did he come the day after that. On the third day, he sent over the technician who had installed the humidifier. The man was angry and barked at me that all I had to do was turn off the thermostat. I had done that, but I didn’t want to argue with him. When it came time to turn off the humidifier, I found the owner’s manual online and saw that you’re supposed to turn off the two buttons like the guy said, but you’re also supposed to take the thing apart and clean it or else you’re going to get mold. I am going to use a different company this time and hope that the technician is smart enough to turn off. the humidifier properly.

Maintenance contract of HVAC system replacing original system 5 years ago. No issues, check the system twice a year (for some 15 by same technician). Can contact technician directly in emergency. Good consistent service over time.
