I have used them for several years. They are the best HVAC service company I have ever used! Mark is the best!

The previous owner of my home used Krafft to install a new HVAC system, and I have been using them for the past 7 years. I have a service contract for twice a year maintenance and special pricing and same-day service for emergency. Following a major thunderstorm this summer, one older part of my AC malfunctioned. Even though it was Saturday afternoon, they still made a service call the same day and fixed the problem. They are a family-owned business as well. I definitely recommend them.

We have used Krafft for more than 20 years. We tried other air-conditioning maintenance providers but went back to Krafft.

Where to Find Good HVAC Help

To make sure your heating and air-conditioning systems work when needed, they must be properly installed and maintained. We’ve rated area heating and air-conditioning services for quality and price.

What to Do If You Need HVAC Repairs

If you need repairs to heating or air-conditioning equipment, our ratings of local businesses will help you find a good company to perform them.

Choosing New HVAC Equipment and Getting It Installed Properly

How well a new HVAC system performs, and how much it costs, depends heavily on its design and the quality of installation. It’s important to make the right decisions—and there are many to make. You also must make sure to get a fair contract.

HVAC Equipment Features to Consider

If you are installing new equipment, in addition to making choices about energy efficiency, you will need to decide whether to pay extra for various features. Here is a summary of the types of add-ons.

Maintaining Your HVAC Equipment

The most important maintenance task for HVAC systems is something you can do yourself—replacing the air filter. Check your filter monthly. When a filter has a matting of dirt—i.e., it’s difficult to see through when you hold it up to a light—it’s time to replace it.

HVAC Maintenance Contracts Are Usually Bad Buys

Rather than paying for individual maintenance visits and repair jobs, you might consider getting a service contract for air-conditioning and/or heating equipment. Many companies try to persuade customers to enter into such contracts.
