I called M.E. Flow to come to check a convector which had been leaking. The technician upon arrival stuck a pole into the drainage area of the convector and briefly looked at a meter he was holding while some distance away from the convector. He said it was not leaking and started to leave so I asked him to please put the cover on, which had been lying on the floor. He then asked me to sign a $400 bill on his tablet. Unthinkingly, I did so. The particular apartment in question was and had been empty for awhile. As it turned out, another resident in the building had originally found the leak and had stopped it, which I didn’t know prior to making a service call. When I called the company and complained about the amount of the bill which should have been for a service call only, I was met with, “well, you signed it” with no attempt whatsoever to change it. M.E. FLOW WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!

I reached out to assess my options to get my high-efficiency system to do a better job cooling down my place. The "Home Comfort Advisor" came out and began essentially trying to redesign my HVAC layout: I had to tell him a few times that the current configuration is the only one possible, I had insulated to the DOE specs, and the issue seemed to be configuration of the system. He referred me to another vendor to do an "energy assessment" first. The other firm wanted to sell me insulation services I didn't need, then when they realized there would be no business from me, they essentially told me to upgrade my HVAC. The person from M E Flow wanted a copy of a report, but I never got any because the firm they used never provided one. I called back a few times but was ignored. It felt like an up-sell exercise and I was not happy with that. I could not recommend.

Technicians are uniformly pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. They answer questions, keep me advised during spring and fall checkups. We find the annual service charge reasonable and receive prompt service.
