Nails started popping out of the wood within a year. Had to replace them with outdoor screws. You get what you pay for: I chose the cheapest provider and got an adequate fence.

While looking for quotes on a vinyl fence, Mr. Potter stated he could get me a quote, but that he was having trouble getting the vinyl fencing. I found him a supplier. He was impressed. He came out, did measurements, was kind, and suggested that he'd rather do wood. We didn't want wood due to the maintenance of it. He came back with quotes that were $2,000-$3,000 higher than expected based on initial conversations. I asked him to review. He gave me a snotty reply in text saying that he doesn't like people who change their quotes because then it makes them look bad. He doesn't realize that when you give a quote based on 141 feet of linear fence and the only thing that changes is the cost of the installation (because the parts cost was already known), that too looks bad.
