I was forced to move my husband to a memory care facility very suddenly due to fall risk and Renaissance was recommended to our family by the care home we had intended to use since they had no availability when we needed them. What a stroke of luck! We're still on the waiting list at the other facility but I have no plans to ever move him since I am so far beyond pleased with Renaissance. Everyone on the staff from administration, nursing, therapists, aides, maintenance, food services, business office, reception desk, absolutely everyone, shows that concern for their residents' wellbeing is their top priority. I visit daily and I have never had a moments worry about my husband's care or his safety. I have never seen so many kind and patient people in one place and they truly work as a team to help each other as well as the residents. There doesn't seem to be much staff turnover or staffing shortages either. The food is tasty, appropriate for consumption by dementia patients, and alternative meals are available for picky eaters. The facility is meticulously cleaned and beautifully maintained and the enclosed courtyard is an oasis. The only thing that gives me pause is that the home is small so the doctors are on call rather than on site, but so far the nurses have proven to be more than up to the task of handling medical emergency care.

This is a memory care facility with two levels of care, depending on the level of dementia and, therefore, care and staff required. Overall, they are better than adequate. They are very caring but not as well organized as I wanted.
