This rating refers to Monumental Food, which is part of Main Event. Food was excellent. However, communication was terrible. Food arrived more than an hour before scheduled delivery window.

We used Main Event for a function and found them to be competent, barely. The food was very nice, but the wait staff, particularly the head server, were abrupt and unpleasant. We didn't have a lot of complicated choreography for when and what to serve at a particular time, but the few things we did ask for didn't get done properly. If all you need is the food, and the service during your event isn't terribly important to you, then Main Event can do a great job. I'd also say that our event was "small" (less that $10,0000) compared to some of the jobs the catering rep told us about, so maybe we got the "B" (or "C") team for our event, but I don't think that should matter.
