Go elsewhere! I was a customer of CB Lucas for more than seven years, but after repeated bad experiences — including what I consider shoddy and potentially dangerous work — I will never use them again. I continued hiring CB Lucas longer than I should have because they stuck a label on the appliances they had installed in my new-build home in Arlington. I assumed that meant they were a reputable, competent group of professionals familiar with the systems in my house. Unfortunately, they proved me wrong time and again. This was not a one-time issue. In the past, CB Lucas performed an HVAC installation that later failed, sending the unit crashing to the ground. That could have been extremely dangerous, even fatal for my dog or children. Even after that, I made the mistake of continuing to give them opportunities to do the right thing. The most recent problem involved a water heater issue that became urgent on a Friday night. What followed was an extremely frustrating experience marked by poor communication, no meaningful emergency support when I needed it, and a level of hostility from dispatch that I would not expect from any professional service company — much less one I had used for years. The issue ultimately involved the dip tube, and I had to pay another, better plumber hundreds of dollars to fix the shoddy work CB Lucas had done. I have photographs and receipts reflecting what happened, including the prior HVAC issue (the unit completely fell off the bracket CB Lucas had installed - I've never seen anything like it) and the later plumbing repair. A plumber from CB Lucas eventually came out and installed a part, but the fact that they eventually showed up does not erase the larger pattern: poor workmanship, poor communication, and poor accountability. Plumbing and HVAC problems are stressful enough without having to fight the company for basic responsiveness, professionalism, and competence. I strongly encourage others to look elsewhere. For my family's safety and my own sanity, I will never use CB Lucas again.

Always available. They have installed our heating and air conditioning unit and our hot water tank. Very knowledgeable and where shoe covers when in the house. Do annual checks of the units. Highly recommend.
