This place has a snooty atmosphere and you can't just drop in - they require an appointment or you get a really hard time at the door. However, they do a great job in making/ repairing jewelry. They stand by their work and will clean your ring while you wait.

As I write, Dominion has 32 ratings here, every one of them favorable. I'm delighted to add #33. This is where my partner and I just bought our wedding rings, and our experience couldn't have been better. The splendid Checkbook ratings are exactly right. Neither of us has ever before bought anything at a jewelry store. Lucky for us, we were helped by Marsha, the sales director, who is absolutely excellent. She's super-knowledgeable about jewelry with years of experience, she's a terrific listener, she has a warm personality--everything you'd hope for in a salesperson when you're buying jewelry or, for that matter, anything else that's important. One thing to keep in mind is that she now works only part-time so you'd need to make an appointment to see her. It's very well worth it.
