Carter Fence installed a chain link fence around most of my garden. They did good work and were flexible on possible options.

Carter's lead is skilled and put in a solid 12-hour work day to get the job done. His two helpers were not as skilled, nor as efficient, unfortunately. The job probably should have had four instead of three. But what annoyed us the next day (they finished after dark) was finding chunks of concrete from the old fence tucked under various bushes in the landscaping, rather than hauled off as they should have been. Dirt from post holes was spread around the property line (and over the neighbor's fence) willy-nilly - at no time did anyone ask if we had a preference of where to put it, and this despite the fact we were at home the entire time and wandering around the project throughout. The lead also was a little inflexible on how to adjust the fence line so that it appeared level on the top line across a gently sloping landscape. So -- adequate, when it could have been superior. Recommend, but with caveats as noted.

Carter Fence came out to bid on the work. I thought the person was very knowledgeable and discussed the options with me. I would have hired them but for the fact their bid was by far the highest, about 18% higher than the other bid. Of course the person who does the sales call is not the person who does the work and an knowledgeable sales person does not translate into a good crew.
