Their game was that I could choose the price of the repair from a menu of choices with names like pewter, copper, silver, gold, platinum - ostensibly affecting the detail of work and the time required for it, but also affecting the warranty! And then they rushed the job and caused minor damage - crushing of those delicate fins. Work that the estimator had told me would take, quote, the better part of the day (which I recognize is quite vague) in fact took two hours. And the scam was not the laborer's: the office knew and wanted him to be someplace else at a certain time.
