Bradley Turner Builders Inc was one of a very few companies that would even talk about doing deck REPAIRS. Most everyone else wanted to replace the entire deck, which wasn't what was needed or desired. The original deck was made with grade A1 pressure-treated lumber. However over 15 years of Southern exposure, a few of the boards needed to be replaced due to splitting, mostly at the ends of the boards where screws had been driven in. Mark came out and made several helpful suggestions. First, was two pressure wash the deck so that we could see the real condition of the floor boards. Once the deck was cleaned, the problems were clear. I had two other firms come to look at what needed to be done. They both provided quotes that included removing the entire length (2"x 6"x12' boards). Mark suggested that we replace only the sections between the joists since all of our joists were doubled. In all, this meant we only needed seven 2x6x12 instead of 24. That innovative approach saved us $310 just on the floor boards. Mark and his crew arrived exactly as scheduled and completed the job in less time than anticipated. He did not hesitate to answer my questions and provided helpful information as to why he would do it that way. I felt that he provided me with service as if it was his own home, or even better yet his mother's home! I definitely would have Bradley Turner Builders Inc do any other carpentry work on my home and highly recommend them for providing an accurate estimate, innovative approach, on time and on budget completion and high quality workmanship.
