Not Recommended
Rating is for fireplace maintenance service, rather than installation. Shawn Corbin was recommended by a local networking group. At $225, he was less expensive than the others I called (which were $325 and $295), so I decided to give it a shot. His scheduling was also much faster than the others. I was disappointed in the service, however. He only spent about 20 minutes at my house (maybe less). Brushed off the logs in my family room (with the dust flying all over the room), rather than using a vacuum or taking the logs outside. Quick wipe of interior (missing some areas) and glass. I could have easily done all of that myself. I'm also always a little suspicious when someone requests that a check be made out to them personally, rather than the business. And did not give me a receipt. I would NOT call him again.
