We had a VERY bad experience with Mike Nawrocki. I think he is a competent architect, but he was extremely emotional and difficult to work with. He would get incredibly defensive, upset, argumentative, and accusatory when asked reasonable and straightforward questions he did not like. He was also not much of a creative problem solver in one case where a challenge arose (we had to find a solution on our own, which he was able to execute). He seemed like a nice, reasonable, helpful guy when we met with him, but we came to very much regret the decision to hire him.

We used Mike a few years back to design an addition, and recently have started dreaming about another one. I find him to be very creative with designing the space. It does take several iterations (since he can't read our minds), but I've been pleased with the work from before and the work so far on these new ideas.
