Two technicians on separate trips completely contradicted each other. Ben found low pressure in the coolant and said the downstairs unit was leaking. He recommended further testing, adding coolant, and minor repair, which totalled $600. He recommmended to wait before fixing the leak, which I did. Oscar came out several months later and said there was nothing wrong with the downstairs unit. NO LEAK! But the upstairs unit was now leaking. He recommends replacing it for $8700. Ben has since left the firm, so there is no way to check who is wrong. At a minimum, an error cost me $600.

Was looking for a Fall Maintenance/Inspection for our furnace, which Dodson does not offer, but was told that they would do the service for the regular $110/hour fee. I was happy with their work, but they only spent 1/2 hour at the house. Maybe because it was a gas furnace, it did not require much cleaning or maintenace, but was still a little taken back by the short time spent in the house.
