I had some stained glass pieces to frame & took the pieces to Michael’s based on some framing done by them that I saw at a glass studio. I wanted wood framing but they told me they had no wood framing that would work for a glass piece. I should have gone back to the glass studio to examine how the framing had been done for the piece there, but instead went with the Michaels staff’s suggestion of a metal frame. It turned out just ok, and they did not provide the type of hanging capability that I wanted, so I’ve been unable to hang the pieces as desired.
