Approximately three years ago, I hired John Nugent to do a HVAC check on my upstairs and downstairs units. they are old, but worked fine. I figured since Nugent was expensive, they'd at least have good quality to the service. The technician would check both and make a huge show of how old they were, showing pictures of "corrosion" and implying that these systems were on their last legs. he also actually damaged the gas line to my upstairs unit, a $600 repair - which he said was not his fault, but since it was so old, might as well just replace it. He showed me several options. He was very quick to push these systems on me. I said I would need to think about it. I was freaked out and called my handyman, who called his HVAC guy and he came and checked. I shared the pictures of the "corrosion" which he said was not a big deal. He fixed the gas line at the same price as Nugent offered. This was about three years ago (I intentionally waited to see if my systems would imminently die as their technician was very eager to point out) and my systems have run fine ever since. I'm disgusted by John Nugent & Sons. What a ripoff. They damaged my HVAC and then tried to upsell me on pricey installations that weren't needed. They will never darken my doorstep ever again.

Super work. Very reliable and available. The company calls to let you know who is coming. Their technician calls to let you know when he will arrive. And they always wear clean shoe booties when they come into your home. Competitive prices, excellent name brand HVAC equipment and installations that go right the first time.
