Snell has always had great technicians and performed work very well, including my last service in June 2024. They are expensive, however. Even though the part (capacitor) that required replacement was under warranty, the labor was over $400 for work that is essentially plug and play. Yes, there was some diagnostic work, and a trip to a parts store to buy the capacitor that I got to pay technician labor for. Since Snell had installed the system a few years ago and knew what it was, it would be nice if the technician came with this very common problem part in his truck. The Tech, Adrian, was very professional, courteous, and competent.

Asked Snell to come provide an estimate on replacing our furnace and A/C. They spent over 60 minutes talking to us. At the end they provided a quote, and then said that they just had a "cancellation" and if we would be willing to sign right now and install in 2 days, they would cut 40% off the price. They wouldn't let us think it over and said the offer expired as soon as they walked out the door. When we said that we don't respond to hard-sell pressure tactics, they said "I guess we're not a good fit for you" and they walked out without another word. Ended up getting quotes from other vendors on HVAC who were all cheaper than Snell's 40% reduced price. No wonder they were trying to pressure us to sign right away and not get competing quotes.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem quickly and made the recommended repair. Couldn't have been more pleased.
