Not Recommended
Repair was fine but they changed the stain on my piece without asking, and the old color was what I loved best about the furniture. Disappointing.

I needed a different cabinet for my 1970's Singer sewing machine, and bought the style I was looking for though Facebook Marketplace. It wasn't in very good shape, with evidence of water damage, and rust on the metal fittings. I took it to Restorations Unlimited for painting, and they cleaned it up, put a beautiful lacquer finish on it and spray-painted the fittings to stop further rust. I chose different drawer pulls than were on the original, and they had to modify the false drawer front to accept the drawer pulls I provided. Now the cabinet is so gorgeous that I can use it in any room if I fold the machine down inside. The total cost was $700, which was more than I planned to pay, but I'm glad I made the decision. They restore very fine furniture (which you can check out on their website), so you might not want to have them paint an inexpensive piece of furniture that doesn't require their expertise.

Put in two jobs, was overcharged for one of them before putting their required half payment down on everything. When I was contacted to pick each job up, one job was shoddy work, not done to how it was described to me they would do it and had to be redone, and the other was incomplete so I didn't pay for one part on one job. All this led to massive accounting confusion in their hand-written-on-the-invoice accounting system which confused even their employees. It took a long time to get a refund, and I was stiffed $20 on that. Prices are too high, store hours inconsistent. Will not use them again.
